Logos
1994 — today
I've designed a number of logos over the past 25 years, mostly for my own projects, but also for local musicians, bands, and associations.
Nowadays I'm only creating logos for my own projects, please do not contact me if you need a logo for your band, organization, or complany for example,
I simply don't have the time for third party projects anymore.
Record Covers
1996 — today
I started designing and creating record covers and booklets in the mid 1990s, mostly working with local bands and artists,
and mostly as a freelance designer working for Linster Studios, Luxembourg's largest recording studio.
I probably contributed to over 100 record cover projects over the years, I simply stopped counting them at some point.
Nowadays I'm only creating covers and booklets for projects I'm personally involved in.
Picture Dictionary
2018 — today
The Oli.lu / Morzino Picture Dictionary contains a few thousand images that I have been drawing during the past few years.
The picture dictionary is available though a search engine I programmed for the Oli.lu project, it is not only able to display images but also to translate words as well as entire sentences.
All pictures are currently available via Oli.education.lu (provided by the Ministry of Education in Luxembourg), and they can also be used in all exercises created using the platform.
Pictures are also available via the Morzino Platform.
Drawing & Painting
1980s — today
I started drawing in elementary school, and I got into painting after high school in the late 1990s.
Unfortunately, I had to take a longer break from drawing and painting after starting my first software projects in the early 2000s.
I finally got back into drawing a few years ago, and I hope I will be able to restart painting very soon.
Photography
1990s — today
I started to get into photography in the late 1990s, around the same time I started creating my first record covers.
Unfortunately, I had to take a longer break from it after starting my first software projects in the early 2000s.
Video
1990s — today
My first larger video project was the self-made 3D animation movie "Stag Wards" in the late 1990s (see below).
Right now, I'm preparing to return to video production (using Apple's Final Cut Pro X), mostly as part of upcoming music related projects.
Stag Wards
1998 — 2000
3D animated Star Wars fan movie (writer, producer, director, designer, editor).
Never completed (no audio), but the video itself can be viewed for free on the projects' website.
Stag Wards was created using Stratavision 3D, a free version of the Strata 3D animation software.
The movie was edited using Final Cut Pro.
I had multiple PowerMacs running 24/7 to render the movie back then, which took over a year if I remember well.
Quite a number of details on the production process can be found on the projects' website.
Websites & Platforms
1990s — today
I have been designing and creating websites since the mid 1990s, mostly powered by Content Management Systems I have been developing on my own (OLEFA, CorneliOS, and now ONO).
Early OLEFA powered websites I created and designed included mensa.lu, various commercial websites by kacom.lu, a large number of educational websites (including roeserschool.lu)
as well as institutional and cultural projects.
Unfortunately I no longer have a complete listing of the websites I created during the OLEFA days, but I guess it must be in the range to 25 to 50.
After leaving the EducDesign/OLEFA project in 2008, a number of websites had to be migrated to the CorneliOS CMS and the CIOS Framework.
Oli.lu and Galaxiki.org may be the most notable platforms/websites from the CorneliOS/CIOS area, serving over 10 million dynamically generated pages.
As of today, all of my software has been migrated to the ONO project, and the ONO CMS and Framework is now powering all of my platforms and websites,
including the Oli, Morzino and Jamplifier projects.
I'm no longer designing or creating websites for third parties, although I'm still offering help with designs for sites created via the Oli.education.lu platform.
Flyers, Promo, etc...
This is just something I would like to mention, so that this page will be more or less complete.
I probably created (or co-created) over 100 flyers (as well as booklets, folders, etc...) over the past 25 years,
although I have to admit that I mostly did this out of necessity (yes, I needed the money back in the days), and it's something I'm not really into.
