In 2000 I first presented my vision for a new educational platform. During the following years I turned this vision into a working product called OLEFA. Since 2002 OLEFA has been distributed by local company EducDesign, and it has become the most popular educational platform in Luxembourg.
In 2008 I quit my job at EducDesign, and I was quite sure that I wouldn't design any new platform for the educational market as OLEFA offered all the things I originally wanted back in 2000.
This changed in November 2009, when I started thinking about new possibilites and technologies. This evolved into a new project concept quite quickly, first prototypes of the new oli.lu platform went online in 2010. The official BETA 1.0 release was launched on November 15, 2011, followed by BETA 1.5 on May 15, 2012. BETA 2.0 followed in late 2012 and the final version become available in late 2013.
Over the years, oli.lu became the most popular educational platform in Luxembourg. At the same time we worked on morzino.com, the international version of the site.
On September 14, 2016, the Luxembourg Government / Ministry Of Education launched oli.education.lu, a customized version of the platform we developed in close cooperation with the CGIE (Centre de Gestion Informatique de l'Education).
