Founder of The Joopita Project, a label used for most of the projects I have been involved in since the late 1990s.

• The project started as "The WobbleWolf Project" in 1998, and was renamed to "Joopita" in 2006.
• In 2011, we founded the "Joopita Research ASBL", a non-profit organisation that was operating non-commercial platforms and software projects from 2011-2022.
• In 2026, we founded "The Joopita Project ASBL", a non-profit organisation now responsible for the management of the ONO Perl Framework, an Open Source / Free Software project.

Founding member of EducDesign SA in 2002, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from 2002-2008, leading the development of the OLEFA software solution, which revolutionized Luxembourg's education market in the 2000s.

I quit EducDesign in 2008, as I no longer agreed with the direction of the company and the future development of the software solutions.

Founding member of Luxembourg's national MENSA chapter (1998), vice-president and member of the board (1998-2002), publisher of the national monthly journal (1998-2002), webmaster (1998-2012 – mensa.lu was one of the first websites running OLEFA by the way).

I’m no longer a member, and I’m not particularly fond of the current direction Mensa Luxembourg is taking.

An extensive interview with actor Dave Prowse, who played the role of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy.
